2 (28 oz) cans crushed tomatoes
2 (28 oz) cans tomato puree
3 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste
1/4 c extra virgin olive oil
1 cup chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 bay leaves
3 Tsp italian seasoning
2 Tsp salt
1 cup water
1. Heat oil on high in pan. Saute onion and garlic until transparent.
2. Add onions, garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, bay leaves, italian seasoning, salt and water to the crockpot. Mix well.
3. If cooking meatballs also, add the meatballs to crock pot.
4. Cook on low for 8 hours.
5. Cook pasta according to package. Serve sauce and meatballs over the pasta.
Tip: Make sure that you saute the onion and garlic before adding it to the crockpot. Sauteing the onion and the garlic really brings out the flavor and makes it taste so good.
